Kay Arnold, a Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider, received a graduate counseling degree from Trevecca Nazarene University.   Her counseling opportunity with The BABBCenter began in 1997.



Beth Baxter, MD

• Psychiatrist

Dr. Beth Baxter is a board-certified psychiatrist in private practice in Nashville, Tennessee as well as the BabbCenter in Hendersonville, Tennessee. She received her graduate medical training at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.


Joan Bruce, LMFT

  • Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Joan spent most of her childhood in Atlanta, Georgia but has called Nashville home for over thirty years. She is married and has raised two daughters.


Lindsey Casabella, LCSW

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Lindsey is a licensed clinical social worker, and she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from the University of Southern Mississippi.


Ray Cleek, DMin

  • Assistant Director and Administrator

Ray was invited to join the staff of First Baptist Church, Hendersonville, Tennessee in January, 2002 to begin the preparation for the opening of the BabbCenter in May, 2002. Prior to his work at the BabbCenter, Ray was pastor of churches in Indiana, Virginia, and Tennessee—the last being the First Baptist Church of Lebanon, Tennessee for fourteen years.


Jason Cline, M.Ed

Jason grew up in Westmoreland, Tennessee, and has lived in Hendersonville since 1998. He earned his BS degree from Tennessee Tech University and his M.Ed from Tennessee State University.


Lauren (Wright) Combs, LPC-MHSP

Lauren Combs, a Hendersonville native, earned her bachelor’s in human services and counseling as well as her master’s degree in education of counseling and human development at Lindsey Wilson College.


Anna Cook, MA

Anna Cook received her bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University in Communication and Psychology and a Master’s of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Anna is currently a masters level counselor under supervision working towards her LPC/MHSP credentials.


Rhonda D’Imperio, PhD

Rhonda is a licensed psychologist in the state of Tennessee. She earned her BA degree from Hamilton College in New York, and her MA degree and PhD in psychology from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.


Bethany Diolola, PMHNP

  • Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Bethany is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who sees clients ages thirteen and older. She has an undergraduate degree in psychology and received her master’s in nursing from Vanderbilt University.

Laura joined The BabbCenter as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over ten years of private practice experience.


Chad Hutton, MDiv, MA

Chad Hutton has a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health as well as a Master of Divinity and is pursuing licensure as a licensed professional counselor.    


Tori Jarvis

Tori Jarvis is a master’s level intern pursuing a clinical mental health counseling degree at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Lorraine Looney, LCSW

Lorraine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Tennessee. She earned a BA in psychology from Boston University and a master’s degree in social work from UT Knoxville.


Kimberly McLaurin, LMSW

With an enthusiastic and genuinely friendly attitude, Kimberly radiates a sincere passion for delivering hope and recovery to individuals and families suffering from alcohol and drug addiction. Her other special areas of interest include child & adolescent therapy, depression and anxiety, bipolar disorder, parenting, family issues, and grief counseling, as well as conflict resolution.

Taylor Shacklett is a Nashville native. She received her bachelor’s degree in Family Sciences at Lipscomb University and graduated with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Trevecca Nazarene University.

Tammy is a graduate of Liberty University with a BS in education. She has taught in the public school system both nationally and internationally as well as homeschooled her own children.


Tara Sweeten, MA, SPE, HSP

Tara is a Senior Psychological Examiner, Certified EMDR Therapist, and play therapist. She provides counseling and psychological/educational assessments for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Tara partners with her clients along their journey to healing so that they can experience happiness and reach their full potential.


Sarah Beth VanDyke, LPC, MHSP

Sarah Beth was born and raised in middle Tennessee where she lived until graduating from high school. For over fourteen years she lived in Kentucky while pursuing her undergraduate and graduate degrees, and then starting a family.


Daniel Vaughan, LPC, MHSP

Daniel Vaughan, a Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider, received his Master of Arts in marriage and family counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. For the first eleven years of his counseling career, he provided psychotherapy services for adoptive families, foster children, and juvenile sex offenders in Texas.


Corey Watson

Corey was born and raised out west in sunny California. She has eighteen years of office experience, with ten of those years being office manager for a brokerage firm.

Deb Wilson is a licensed professional counselor with mental health service provider designation in the state of Tennessee. She received her master’s degree from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Trevecca as well.

Peter Wilson is a licensed psychologist in the state of Tennessee. He earned his BA from Free Will Baptist Bible College, a MA in psychology from Middle Tennessee State University, and an EdD from Tennessee State University.


Paul Winkler

Paul Winkler has a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy and is pursuing licensure as a licensed marriage and family therapist.


DeAndrea Witherspoon Nash, PhD, LPC-MHSP

Julie Witt is a master’s level intern seeking a clinical mental health counseling degree from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville. She graduated with honors from Middle Tennessee State University, participated in the acclaimed U.S. State Department’s Critical Language Scholar (CLS) program, and is an active member of the American Counseling Association.

Kasey is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. She earned her undergraduate degree at Belmont University and a master’s degree in advanced psychiatric nursing from Vanderbilt University.


Barry Yeiser, LCSW

Barry joined the BabbCenter in Sept. of 2019, bringing with him over 24 years of mental health counseling experience including sixteen years in private practice. He completed his undergraduate degree at Western Kentucky University and his graduate studies at the University of Louisville.
