Anna Cook, MA

  • Masters Level Counselor under Supervision

Anna Cook received her bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University in Communication and Psychology and a Master’s of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Anna is currently a masters level counselor under supervision working towards her LPC/MHSP credentials.

During her graduate career, Anna was an intern at the Babb Center working primarily with teenagers and children. Along with her clinical experience across different ages and life stages, Anna is passionate about using her training to support clients seeking support through depression, anxiety, and life-stage transitions. When working with younger clients, Anna likes to bring the parents in on the conversation to ensure that the work being done in counseling is continued at home. She views it as a partnership between parents, and she encourages parents and younger clients alike to put in the work at home to work towards desired outcomes.

Anna is a Hendersonville native and when not at work enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter. She also enjoys trying new foods, spending time outdoors, and reading new books.
