DeAndrea Witherspoon Nash earned her M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Tennessee State University and her Ph.D. in Clinical Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University. She is a licensed professional counselor-mental health service provider in Tennessee and a nationally certified counselor.
Dr. Witherspoon Nash has served as the clinical director of a local alcohol and drug treatment center and a program coordinator of child and youth outpatient treatment at a local community mental health agency. She has specialty experience in the area of alcohol and drug treatment, in addition to child and adolescent therapy, depression, and anxiety.
Dr. Witherspoon Nash enjoys traveling, family time, values the importance of self-care, and often reflects on Proverbs 3: 5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.”
