Q.  Where did you go to school?

A.  Boston University. I loved living in the city and remember having to shovel snow into piles over my head.

Q.  What is a team you cheer for?

A.  Boston Red Sox!!!

Q.  What is a fond childhood memory?

A.  Sharing a black and white cookie with my grandmother. We both LOVED the chocolate side! So we split the cookie in order for each of us to get some vanilla and chocolate.

Q.  What is a children’s book you enjoy reading to your kids?

A.  We’re Going on a Bear Hunt. It is a great way to look at life. There are many things that we encounter where you cannot go under it or around it…you must go through it.

Q.  Where is a unique place you have lived?

A.  I lived in Perth, Australia. While there I worked with the court system to help divert people into addiction treatment when encountering legal issues.

Q.  What is something about you that very few people know?

A.  I run sprint triathlons. The biking part is the most difficult for me; Running is the easiest.

Q.  What is a quote you think about often?

A.  I heard a pastor say, “We should seek out the least, last, and the lost.”

Q.  Why do you focus on helping people overcome additions?

A.  It is a calling. When others have given up on those addicted or if you have given up on yourself in the struggle, I want to be there to help find freedom.
