Julie Witt
Master’s Level Counselor Under Supervision
You matter. More than anything else, I strive to communicate the value of every individual who shares part of their story with me. Having gone through many hard seasons myself, I understand the feelings of hopelessness, frustration, fear, guilt, isolation, and even anger. These experiences, combined with my clinical education, allow me to offer empathy and compassionate support to those brave enough to seek help. As an Adlerian practitioner, I believe challenges can be met with optimism and hope, leading to significant personal growth.
Helping individuals and couples navigate conflict, loss, addiction, trauma, negative family cycles, parenting, and new phases of life is a privilege I hold with great care. My approach integrates Emotion Focused Therapy, Enneagram, Adlerian Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, Attachment Theory, and FLASH trauma processing – tools I tailor to fit each person’s unique needs. Additionally, my training as both a family and civil mediator provides skills and context to approach every situation with a broad perspective.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 30 years and our many children and grandchildren. In my limited free time, I treasure opportunities for reading, puzzles, hiking, and sharing meals and games with loved ones.
If you’re ready to explore your path to healing and growth, I’m here to listen, support, and offer tools to use on your journey. You don’t have to do it alone.
