Daniel Vaughan, LPC, MHSP
Licensed Professional Counselor
My name is Daniel Vaughan, and I have been serving at the BabbCenter since 2015.
I earned a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. For the first eleven years of my counseling career, I provided psychotherapy services for adoptive families, foster children, and juvenile sex offenders in Texas.
In 2023, God called me to West Virginia. As a result, all of my sessions are provided via telehealth. I am able to offer services later in the evening and serve clients who may not be able to make it to the BabbCenter during normal business hours.
I currently provide counseling for married couples and families whose children struggle with moderate to severe behavioral issues, abuse, trauma, and grief. I have extensive experience working with mental health issues such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other psychotic disorders.
My other interests include working with computers and technology, and teaching others to understand and use them more effectively. I have trained many families in the responsible use of technology.
I have been married to my wife, Molly, since 2002, and we have four children.
