Greetings! I am Dr. DeAndrea Witherspoon Nash, a Nashville native. I earned my M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Tennessee State University and my Ph.D. in Clinical Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University. I am licensed as a professional counselor-mental health service provider in Tennessee and an approved clinical supervisor.
Because I currently serve as a counselor educator, I see clients on Thursdays. My career experience includes school-based counseling, serving as the clinical director of a local substance use disorder treatment center, and as a program coordinator for child and youth outpatient treatment at a community mental health agency.
My interests include domestic and international travel, wellness, and spending quality time with my family. I often reflect on one of my favorite bible verses- Proverbs 3: 5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.”
